EXPERIENCED PROJECT AND ENGINEERING MANAGER
for the implementation of photovoltaic projects
Job description
- You are a member of the management team and are responsible for the set up and management of an international technical competence center, which is responsible for the design & engineering of solar photovoltaic (PV) projects (Belgium – Germany).
- Therefore, you will define the necessary technical skills (know-how of panels, strings, inverters, irradiation, metering, grid connection, geotechnical knowledge, building stability, wind loads, roofing knowledge…) for this team.
- You will manage & streamline the engineering department in Frankfurt (Germany) and Waregem (Belgium) in order to achieve an excellent quality standard and execution speed of the design of the solar PV plants.
- In addition, you coordinate with your team other core activities of the department. This involves: supervising the design of plants performed by external turnkey contractors, supporting the local project developers during the development phase of a project and managing the PV design engineer teams actively in the different countries.
Profile
- You have a Master degree as an Engineer in electro-mechanics or electricity for building stability.
- You have a successful project and field experience in total implementation and follow-up of technical projects.
- You are known as a true people manager, with excellent communication and organisation skills.
- You are resilient, mobile and a true problem solver.
- Travelling (up to 30 % of the time) is not an issue.
- Your English is fluent. Knowledge of German is an asset.
- You have the possibility to work or in Belgium (Waregem) or in Germany (Frankfurt).
